The Kindred Press is a digital magazine for underserved communities. By using our site or subscribing, you agree to engage with our content and community with respect. We are here to share real stories and inspire action.

2. Submitting Your Work

• You Own Your Work: When you send us writing (poetry, essays, articles) or art, you still own it. You are simply giving us permission to publish it on our Substack, social media, and website.

• Accuracy: We expect your stories to be true. We don’t publish hate speech, bullying, or fake news. We may edit your work for length or grammar, but we won’t change your message.

• Guaranteed Publishing: We aim to provide a space for every voice that aligns with our mission. However, we reserve the right to decline content that goes against our community values.

3. Community Rules

We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination. Comments that attack people based on their race, income, gender, or background will be deleted, and you may be banned from the community.
